Cherry Blossoms in Vancouver
Cherry blossoms in Vancouver originated from 500 trees donated by Japan in the
1930s,
and there are currently more than 43,000 trees with 54 different species.
Even in these disturbing times, nature has sprung in the beautiful city of
Vancouver as it always does in spring.
It is always nice to see the Japanese cherry blossoms, and hopefully they can
help people heal.
1930年代、日本から500本の桜の木が寄贈されたことが始まりで、現在バンクーバーには43,000本以上、54品種もの桜があります。
パンデミックのコロナ禍も、例年と同じようにバンクーバーに春が訪れ、これら日本から来た桜がカナダの人々を楽しませ、気持ちを癒しています。
